Le Corbusier is considered one of the greatest architects of the 20th century and certainly one of the most influential. This work is a compilation of sketches he made to prepare the project for Algiers, France. In these sketches, he is studying how to create "garden cities", a concept that would revolutionise architecture. Until then, this concept had been based on small houses that would create the city; Le Corbusier changed the paradigm and began to promote large buildings that stood like walls.

 

Pere and Carla, a couple of architects, found this work very interesting as it shows the first steps of a significant project. They had studied and knew this project perfectly well, but having the author's original sketches meant a lot. As lovers of the Swiss master's architecture, they did not hesitate in acquiring this unique work that now decorates their office.
